Not every buyer is a good fit for every farm. Maybe a deal fell through in the past. Maybe they ghosted you. Maybe it’s just a “never again” situation. We get it.

That’s why MyGrainExchange.com gives farmers the power to opt out of working with specific grain companies using the My Buyers Management Tool in the Seller Profile.

Here’s how it works:

  • Log into your Seller profile

  • Head to My Buyers section of the menu

  • Select any buyer you’d prefer not to receive bids from and click the Block button

  • Done. You won’t see offers from them—and they won’t see your listings.

It’s your grain. Your reputation. Your call.

This tool helps you save time, avoid uncertainty, and focus on doing business with buyers you trust.

No awkward calls. No burned bridges (unless you like it crispy). Just better control over who you're selling to (or not selling to).

MGX is committed to providing a safe, quality user experience

MGX works hard to keep the integrity of our marketplace by verifying and approving every grain company that has access to our system. Since the nature of our marketplace is anonymous until a trade is confirmed, we provide peace of mind to our farmers by labelling all the companies licensed and bonded by the Canadian Grain Commission and providing the 5-star rating system to help you make quick, confident decisions when accepting bids.

We only approve seed, grain and feed companies that have an upstanding reputation, local infrastructure to accommodate delivery, and the financial resources and insurance to guarantee payment to their customers. Over half of our buyers are CGC licensed and the other half are mainly feed companies who are not licensable by the grain commission. There is a quick select button in your profile that allows only CGC licensed grain companies to see your listings and make offers.
